i can't believe its 2012 already, it felt like i was just attending 2011 vision casting service yesterday. its scary and i hope time would just tick slower for me.
december was a blast, it is definitely my most favourite month of the year! (:
everybody is uploading their timetable on FB and i am seriously sian-ed with mine. i think NIE dont like me.
well this is probably the last time i will say this ! exams are finally over !! WHEEE! hahaha .. its been four long years and i think i have said this many many many many times ! still i am surprised that i have been gone through them and passed every semester. there's always this negative voice inside me that tells me i nv make it. but by the grace of GOD i did!
Its been a trying semester. 7 modules in total with a hell load of assignments ! i honestly struggled. but since i've gone through it, there's nothing more than thanking JESUS for bringing me thru. of course with my husband constantly encouraging and supporting me.
i honestly cannot recall what i have done in october and nov, just loads of time sitting at the front of my computer typing 500 words an hour.
anyways, i guess its been boring posts ...

21st birthdays.
my brother's 21st jersey. i didn't realised that my brother was that young when he just told me he is turning 21 soon ...
Many told me its weird for a guy to have a theme- party.getting a themed-party was my idea. we brainstormed many ideas that could depict him totally. and jersey just came !
spent alot for his birthday. bought a jersey that cost me $75 ! ahhh i wished i was there to bargain with the uncle for a lower price!
and the cake was definitely the highlight. :D
hahaha .. and i am proud to say the CAKE WAS MY IDEA !!! ... we argued for a long time to get a jersey cake coz he thought it was too childish ... ouh well ... from the look of the cake i am sure u know who won! LOL!
its a pity that dad couldn't be around. melvin and i have been imagining and thinking what would it be like for mum to wear a jersey to the party ... hahahha .. and that day finally came. hahaha .. not as funny as we thought tho...
the following day was serene's 21st.
it was a green- themed party.
i didn't expect it to be that GREEN! hahaa ...
it was still indeed a pleasant surprise ...
this was definitely the highlight of the birthday!

went swan lake with pat, lynette and michelle at MBS!
anyways, i thought the show was pretty abstract. If i hadn't read the synopsis, i wouldn't understand what they were doing. there wasn't any dialogue. everything was in dance and song. i thought it was okay. at the end of the whole show i was only facinated by their stunts and their graceful dancing. still couldn't match up to the Lion King Musical ! ... next up will be wicked ! HEH!

I can't seem to find myself updating regularly. so i've just decided to do a quick update before it gets any "lagger" LOL!
school has started, however, adjusting to school life took a while. despite all these i have been busy with many things. :D
so just quick quick update. and highlights!
practicum
i am thankful to God for bringing me to this school. the teachers are very helpful and passionate.
amidst the many workload, i thank God for these crazy people.
they have made my life in practicum so fun ! we laugh at stupid jokes and we get high super easy ! :P
had a great time spending with all of them. :D
surprise parties
first was jonathan's
then was dilys ..
spent a week or so liasing with serene ... hahah .. but they did most of the job! well done ! :)
post practicum
then was meet up with lynette and pat, where we shared our life in practicum ! hahahah ..
that same night i went to B.O.B concert ! wheee ...
if ur wondering who he is. he is the guy that sang air planes ...
everybody was so high and crazy, singing and screaming. my ears were seriously bursting !

went dinner and prawing with Z2GL ! had a great time...
i really think we are noobs ! hahaha .. spent most of the time chatting and talking for almost 2 hours ... and only caught 3 pathetic prawns ! LOL!
quite a disappointment too, the renting of rods were quite expensive, the pond was smaller than expected and there were loads of mosquitoes ... had a swollen feet that night ! TSK!
still, had a great time with them. now that we have gone separate ways in our ministries, we are still close. and i thank God for them ! :D

after that meet up, i concluded alot of things about she and i ... haha .. we seem to be similar in terms of character, outgoing and stubborn ... but we have a VAST DIFFERENT VIEW ON CLOTHINGS ! seriously, she would just show me a clothing that i would feel yucks and vice versa. or ask me to choose which is nicer and still choose the clothing that i wouldn't think its nicer. -_-!
hahahah but it was still a good time. the thought of spending money together feels good. it was all cheap buys! :D
tertiary gathering
tertiary gathering was fun. i honestly came with the intention to just support belicia coz she was in the committee coz there were tons of work to complete. however, i still made it down and i did have a great time. :)
i love taking photos and i also love to be taken. LOL!

youth camp which happened quite a long time ago was something that i really wanted to post about. The inital intention to blog about church camp at a later time was to let my excitement settle down and to compose a blog entry that was not emotionally charged. however, up to this time, the excitement of the camp has probably died ! LOL! hahahaa ...
then again, its a good time to reminisce the about the good times i had with the Lord and the youth. :) not that i am not having a good time with the Lord now but such retelling of experiences serves good reminders that God is still very awesome!
okay, that was my verbal thought process... hahaha ...
here's june updates: youth camp! LOL! just a quick quick one.
THE PLACE
this year's youth camp is at Austin Hills. Its a really huge place. It doesn't seem like a place for human beings.
this room depicts and compares me to the room. hahah. u can really see a drastic difference of me in it.
there were also 2 queen size beds, fridge, televisions, cupboards. etc. so u can imagine how this room is under utilize with just jonathan and i in it.
the basic amenities are clean and good. i had a great time staying there.
THE ACTIVITIES
i honestly hate participating in games and cheering and stuff like that. (i guess i have said this a thousand times) and is good that now my role have been switched to station ic. :)
okay. i don't have time to keep uploading them and i am beginning to feel that livejournal is getting more and more not friendly! tsk!
being a veteran for youth camp, i still find myself learning many things on the word of God. this year's youth camp is just as different. I could feel the hunger in the youths for the Lord stronger than i felt in the many camps i went. I thought to myself why? and i've realised that people are beginning to appreciate youth alive svc.
the privildege of youth service was taken away more than a year ago due to the rebuilding of our church. some youths are upset and left, some stayed in the hope that this period will pass quickly. through this, i have learned that the once spoilt youths (including me) who take their svc for granted has learned to appreciate it.
youths are hungry for the probably long lost first love is finally found back in the camp. God has definitely taught and spoke to me about many things in my life and i am still not forgetting them. its defintely my season of test of my faith in him and i am learning to hold on to that promise i give to him.
its tough, but i know i am made stronger in him.
this camp deserves an A* hahaha ...
we had harvanas slippers, wrist band, shoe bag, towels, tid bits, shopping trips, paint ball, bowling, God .... and honestly i didn't pay much for it ! :D

i finally see myself having nothing to do after continually slogging for 3 and half weeks without rest in school. having lunch could also be a luxury sometimes. and i've only half an hour or less to breathe now .. so let me say some stuffs ...
there are just countless of things i really wanna share. but i am just too busy right now. i really regretted not blogging about church camp before i go for my practicum. i have under-estimated the workload of a teacher.
n now, she is in india and have asked me a few times if i needed an indian saree .... i wouldn't mind tho for next year's racial harmony day. LOL!
